George Fradley was raised in North Shropshire, on the border with Cheshire and Staffordshire. He began playing the piano at the age of seven, and within his first year of learning began receiving awards locally.

Prior to gaining a place at Birmingham Junior Conservatoire, he received tuition from Katie Riddle. While at Junior Conservatoire George competed for the Junior Intercollegiate Beethoven Competition, under the guidance of his tutor Rebeca Omordia – accompanist to Julian Llloyd-Webber.

George has attended many summer schools including ‘Chethams International Summer School for Pianists’, where he received coaching from noted professionals including Philip Martin, Alekander Szram, Nelita True, and Murray McLachlan. In the summer of 2014 he attended ‘Music at Albignac’, studying with Paul Roberts and Martin Sturfalt.

In 2013 George received a music scholarship to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, under the guidance of Richard McMahon. During his time at RWCMD, George has played in masterclasses with Nelson Goener and Llyr Williams. George has also received coaching from Graham Caskie, Richard Ormrod and Benjamin Frith.

At RWCMD George is is a director of the RepCo board, helping organise a series of monthly piano concerts, the Profile Piano Series. As part of the series, George performed the Grieg Piano Concerto in February 2015, with orchestra, in the Dora Stoutzker hall, conducted by Tianyi Lui, a highlight of his performing career so far.
