Along with their work as a full quartet, the Hills regularly perform as a String Trio and Duo, recently giving performances in Regents Hall in London. The quartet are also particularly interested in working with living composers on new works and recently commissioned jazz-bassist Misha Mullov-Abbado to write a piece for string quartet ‘Winter Blues’.

The Quartet collaborated with Focusrite to film and record Webern’s ‘Langsamer Satz’ in the Dukes Hall and also with the National Film and Television School to record the Ravel string quartet. In addition, they recently worked with Jonathan Freeman-Atwood to record the Mendelssohn Quartet No. 2 in A Minor.
