British Indian soprano Natasha Agarwal is a versatile young artist. She made her role debut at the Royal Festival Hall this year in Ravi Shankar’s opera “Sukanya” with the LPO and has performed principal roles at the Royal Opera House Mumbai and Tête à Tête Festival. Concert highlights includes Bach’s St Matthew Passion with Trevor Pinnock and Handel’s Messiah at Ripon Cathedral. A keen recitalist and Art Song lover, she has been commissioned by Jeffrey Benton to record his English translation of Schumann’s Frauenliebe und -leben. Natasha completed her postgraduate studies at RAM last year. She is also trained in dance styles including ballet, contemporary and classical Indian dance and was “All England Young Dancer of the Year” in 2013.
